Lent is the season of renewal and rebirth. To acknowledge this time of reflection and growth, we hold an annual dinner of simple soup and bread and plant seeds to demonstrate that renewal. Over the course of the season, children and adults alike can watch thier seeds grow from dormancy to life.
The dinner is held in Watson Hall, leading to the evening Ash Wednesday service at 7:30 p.m. We ask for a $2 donation per person at the door to cover costs.
