Sundays at 10 a.m. in the Dining Room
Presbyterians in centuries past worked for the right to have the Bible in our hands and in our own language. They believed that by reading Scripture together and talking about what we read, we can grow in faith and knowledge, guided by the Holy Spirit. How privileged we are to have the Bible in our hands!
Each Sunday morning throughout June and July (we will break July 3), church members will lead a 10 a.m. Bible Study in the Dining Room on the third floor of the Parish House. The topic will be one or more of the assigned lectionary texts for that Sunday, so that participants can be better prepared for worship and the sermon.
Discussions are always lively, and some members have said this is their favorite Adult Education opportunity of the whole year. No expertise is necessary, and all questions are good questions. All are welcome, and no RSVP is required. Simply come at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings ready to read, learn, and discuss.
