Four times per year, The Brick Church hosts a series of meetings for prospective new members. At these informational meetings, neighbors, visitors and members can learn about Christian faith and worship, the Presbyterian tradition and the history and life of The Brick Church.
While people who wish to join The Brick Church must attend all three meetings in the series, everyone is welcome. The first meeting, The Christian Life, gives a broad overview of the Bible and the Christian faith in general. The second meeting, The Presbyterian Way, explores our particular way of being Christian and how we relate to other ways to be Christian. The final meeting, Brick Church at Work and Worship, considers the history, worship, educational programs, mission and fellowship of our congregation.
As the schedule shows, we offer two sessions of the first two meetings in each series to accommodate people’s busy lives. Following the meetings, those wishing to join The Brick Church meet church officers (the pro re nata meeting on the schedule) and are received into membership.
Please contact Linda Thompson if you plan to attend or if you would like more information. Childcare is available for the Sunday meetings and upon request for the Saturday orientation.
