At the core of our Christian faith is an abiding trust that God holds us close in both life and death. Rooted in this trust, with hope and joy, the church has long formally remembered those who have departed this life to the life eternal in special worship services. As a part of the All Saints’ Day Service of Worship, our church remembers persons who have died since the previous November 1st by reading their names in prayer giving thanks for their lives and good witness.
All Saints’ Day is the day on which the church has traditionally remembered Christians of all traditions who have passed into the Life Triumphant. This remembrance will be in the context of the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
