Baptism, Marriage, and Funeral Services

In the Presbyterian tradition, the sacraments of baptism and communion are almost always celebrated as a part of Sunday morning public worship. Weddings, funeral services, and memorial services are most often scheduled at times other than Sunday morning. Nevertheless, these are still services of worship of the church in which praise is directed toward God, God’s word is proclaimed, and God is approached in prayer.
