For the last 75 years, The Brick Church Fair rings in the start of the Christmas season. Whether you are a new member or a long-time Fair aficionado, everyone enjoys the fellowship, merriment and holiday spirit that this long-time event offers.
The Fair began in 1943 as an opportunity for Brick Church members to raise funds for organizations that support women and children in Harlem and the Bronx. 20 percent of all proceeds from the Fair are given as grants to support the 10 ministries that the Women’s Association supports.
The Fair is held every November and is a two-day event with 35 vendors, an “Opening Night” cocktail parry, entertainment and photos with Santa.
The dates for this year’s Fair are Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Please save-the-date for a very special evening on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 at The Pierre Hotel, 2 East 61st Street and 5th Avenue. This black tie evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music followed by dinner and dancing. The Silent Auction is always filled with terrific items and all the proceeds from the auction go directly to our outreach efforts.
