Mark your calendar for this year’s church-wide day of service on Saturday, March 4th. The Day of Discipleship is an annual event that provides a rewarding service and fellowship opportunity to church members and their families. Sign up with your friends and family to spend a Saturday helping others at The Brick Church or at any of our partner sites on the east side of Manhattan, include Church of the Living Hope, Urban Outreach, Little Sisters of the Assumptions, Search and Care, and New York Common Pantry. Adults and children of all ages are welcome! Service activities cover a wide range of abilities and age groups. Register below by March 1st, and we will place you at one of our work sites.
The Brick Church – Sort toiletries, build 200 emergency lunches for NYCP, make cards for Search and Care, make dog treat bags.
Church of the Living Hope – Garden cleaning, painting, bathroom renovation, donation sorting.
Urban Outreach – Food pantry sorting, supply organizing, cleaning, and transporting.
Little Sisters of the Assumptions – Sorting new and gently used donations for The Sharing Place Thrift Store.
New York Common Pantry – Food sorting and distribution.
Grass Roots Grocery – Food sorting and distribution.
