Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan

On October 30^th at 11:00 AM we will have our 2^nd annual Kirkin’ of the Tartans service. If World Communion Sunday is the day we celebrate the worldwide church, then Kirkin’ o’ the Tartans Sunday is the day we give thanks for our Presbyterian Heritage in the Reformed tradition. The service features Bagpipes and a drum, while Tartan banners are processed into the sanctuary. These banners represent the Presbyterian Church’s Scottish heritage. It was through the Scots’ unique history and theology that Presbyterianism came to the shores of our country and enabled a church like Brick to proclaim the gospel for over 250 years!
