Service of Lessons & Carols

Brick Church’s Lessons & Carols is modeled on the famous service that has been sung at King’s College, Cambridge since 1918. By flickering candlelight, we tell the Christmas story through readings, carols, and anthems, and we proclaim the good news of light amid the winter’s darkness. This year’s service, on Sunday, December 18th at 4:00 PM, features the world premiere of The Angel Gabriel by New York composer Laura Jobin-Acosta.
Following the service, all are welcome to a festive holiday reception honoring the extraordinary musicians of Brick Church’s Chancel Choir in Watson Hall!
