As the weather warms up and new life returns all around, concerts are returning to Brick as well! For more information, contact Minister of Music Raymond Nagem

April 7 – Juilliard Organ Department Recital

These young musicians from the teaching studio of Paul Jacobs, some of the brightest stars among the next generation of organists, will perform a varied program with music from the Baroque to the present day. Admission is free.

April 30 – Alkemie Ensemble

Known for their spellbinding performances of medieval music, Alkemie presents “Verdant Medicine,” with works by the 12th-century abbess Hildegard von Bingen. In these ecstatic chants, images of unfurling branches, earthbound roots, and medicinal spices are depicted in soaring melodies that connect the natural world with its divine Creator. Tickets are a suggested donation of $30 for general admission / $10 for students. Purchase tickets here.

May 10 – Elena Baquerizo, organ

Elena Baquerizo of the Juilliard School will offer her master’s degree recital on the sanctuary organ at Brick. Admission is free.

May 25 – Isabelle Demers and Chase Douthit, organ

Virtuoso organist Isabelle Demers, Professor of Organ at Baylor University in Waco, TX,  is internationally known for her fearless and virtuosic music-making. Along with organist Chase Douthit, winner of Baylor’s Semper Pro Musica Competition, she will perform music of J. S. Bach, Charles-Valentin Alkan, and Rachel Laurin. Admission is free.
