Men’s Association

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

— Psalms 133:1

The men of the Brick Church constitute The Men’s Association. Its Mission Statement is as follows:

“The Brick Church Men’s Association unites men in fellowship, discipleship, outreach, and evangelism to uphold the mission of the Brick Presbyterian Church. We seek to meet the needs of the men of Brick Church, cultivate Christian brotherhood, and nurture strong and healthy friendships based on our shared Christian values. We encourage engagement of all men, promoting activities to bring us together in support of our church and service to our community.”

The men of Brick Church pursue myriad activities including bible study, ushering, barbecues, golf, dinners, volunteering, and educational sessions. Our goal is to engage the men of Brick Church in spiritual, educational, fellowship and outreach activities through a variety of programming. Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper – Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. in Watson Hall

The Men’s Association is honored to announce the return of our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at Brick Church. Shrove Tuesday (aka Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday) is the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday where Christians who observe Lent eat all of the indulgences they will deny themselves during Lent (eggs and meat and lard and sugar). It is a party to help get you through 40 days of fasting. And at Brick Church, it is a family-friendly night filled with fun and games and laughter and lots of pancakes.
Please join us at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, as we rekindle this cherished Brick Church tradition. Don’t miss Pancakes, Apple Sauce, Sausages, Blessed Wine and, of course, Pancake Races! Everyone is welcome to this family friendly event so don’t forget to bring a friend.
