Hannah Faye grew up in a Southern Baptist Church and is now a seminary student at one of the most liberal theological institutions in the country. Still learning what it means to be a pastor, Hannah Faye will explain how breaking the mold doesn’t always mean starting over and how she has come to cherish her Southern Baptist roots in the midst of a resurgent Evangelical America. Believing the church must re-imagine its “conservative vs. liberal” dichotomy, Hannah Faye argues that the work to be done lies somewhere in the middle, and it is critical to follow the love and teachings of Christ anywhere, even if it means taking you back right to where you started. Hannah Faye lives in Madison, New Jersey with her husband and almost two-year-old son, Henry. She is in the second year at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York with a Cross-Testament Bible concentration.
