Deacons’ Christmas Outreach

While we are not able to host the annual Deacons’ Christmas Party in person this year, we can still make Christmas merry and bright for up to 100 children and 30 families from the Stanley Isaacs Neighborhood Center, a non-profit that focuses on the needs of children and low-income families. As always, we need your support to make the initiative a success!

Visit the Angel Trees
Each ornament on the “Angel Trees” in the Garden Room and Sanctuary Narthex represents a child we are supporting and contains shopping details including age and wishlist. To participate, choose an ornament (or two!), shop from the list, and kindly drop unwrapped gifts off in a bag tagged with your ornament in the Garden Room by Sunday, December 12th.

Click HERE to Donate a Meal Card
You can also support the families by donating money for meal cards. The suggested amount for a family of five is $100, but every dollar adds up and is deeply appreciated. To donate, click HERE and select 2021 Deacons Xmas Meals in the dropbox.

Sort and Package Gifts
All congregants are invited to help sort and package the gifts in Watson Hall on Sunday, December 12th, after the church service. Children are welcome and can even help by decorating cards for the gifts.

Thank you so much for helping to make this a joyous holiday season for those in need!
