There are many opportunities to get involved with Worship and Music at The Brick Church through volunteering. Below are some of the ways you can get involved and help further our ministry.
Come and volunteer with the Chancel Committee which is part of the Worship and Music Committee of the Brick Presbyterian Church to help set up our beautiful worship services. We need volunteers to assist with the preparation/set up of communion on Sunday mornings before the worship service and/ or for cleanup following the worship service. It is a meaningful and rewarding way to get involved in the Brick Church community and it is an excellent fellowship opportunity to get to know church members in a smaller group setting. The work is simple and requires less than an hour commitment on any Sunday you choose.
Easter Sanctuary Decorating
Each Lenten season before Easter, volunteers are needed to help set up the sanctuary with flowers and candles in anticipated celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. Please contact Shannon Froehlich for more information, or to volunteer.
Greeters are needed to welcome members and visitors alike to the church for worship each Sunday and for special services. Please contact Rev. Adam Gorman for more information, or to volunteer.
At certain services throughout the year, volunteers are invited to perform in the handbell choir. Please contact Keith Tóth for more information, or to volunteer.
We are always looking for volunteers to read the Scripture during weekly and special services. Please contact Chanel Robertson for more information, or to volunteer.
Ushers are needed for weekly and special services to assist members in finding seating, answer questions they may have, and assist with collections during services. Please contact Rev. Adam Gorman for more information, or to volunteer.
Wednesday Chapel Choir
The Wednesday Communion Choir is made up of volunteer adults and youth who perform during Wednesday Evening Worship from October through May each year. If you would like to lend your vocal talents to the group, please contact Keith Tóth for more information, or to volunteer.
