If you’re having trouble streaming our Sunday worship services, below are some tips on how to optimize performance.
Internet connection and bandwidth
Due to the nature of live broadcasting, from time to time there may be service interruptions through any of the service providers connecting your system to the Brick Church website. For this reason, Livestream recommends viewing from a wired connection with a download bandwidth of more than 876 kilobits per second (Kbps). This is the medium-quality, mobile-friendly bitrate that we use for broadcast. To test your speed, go to www.speedtest.net
. Bandwidth fluctuates constantly (especially on WiFi and mobile internet), so running 3 tests is recommended. As a general rule your download bandwidth must be greater than the bitrate of the channel you’re trying to view.
If this does not resolve the problem, a full version of each service will be available after the broadcast airs live and kept in the archives. Thank you for your continued support.
You can use any type of browser to view our services. For best results, be sure to upgrade to the latest version and you may have better success with Google Chrome or Firefox. Make sure to enable cookies and turn off pop-up blocker.
