Job’s trust in God, as well as his commitment to God, never wavered throughout his ordeal. But then why were his last words, "...I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes?" What happened? If this was Job’s "dark night of the soul," what can we learn about sin, relationships, repentance, grace, and suffering in light of Job’s experience? These questions will be explored in discussion around the table. Prior reading is encouraged but not necessary. Everyone is welcome.
