Please join Rev. Caroline Unzaga for an engaging exploration of the impact of the Clinical Pastoral Education movement on pastoral care today. This session will examine the historical importance of pastoral care within the Reformed tradition; the societal factors that prompted shifts in how pastoral care was understood and practiced; the contributions of Rev. Anton Boisen, a Presbyterian pastor and chaplain who helped launch the movement to reform pastoral care and pastoral education; and reflections on what these developments mean for pastoral ministry today.
Bring friends and enjoy coffee and snacks. Childcare is provided on the youth floor for children of all ages starting at 9:00 AM.
