“Art and Faith: Experiencing God in Beauty and Imperfection"

Art and beauty have long been integral to how we experience the Divine - just look at our historic churches or take a stroll through an art museum! Too often, however, we believe that because we are not professional “artists,” we cannot be agents of creation. Join our Women’s Association Lenten Study as our own Reverend Beth Putney teaches how we were all given the gift of creativity by an infinitely creative God. She suggests that our modern-day task is to lean into our lack of proficiency to experience God in a new light. We will learn how to develop our relationship with God through art and explore how engaging with creative spiritual practices can deepen our faith. (Lunch will be served afterwards).
