We are delighted to welcome Admir Shaqiri to The Brick Church as our new Facilities Manager. Admir brings decades of experience overseeing complex facilities and leading maintenance and housekeeping teams, and we are grateful for the expertise and dedication he brings to this role. Please join us in welcoming Admir to our church community.
Admir has over 20 years of extensive facilities and maintenance experience, predominantly in the hospital sector, where adhering to protocols is paramount. Admir is skilled in improving operational efficiency, exhibits strong leadership skills and has an acute attention to detail. Admir spent the past 6 years as the Facilities Manager at Surgicare of Brooklyn where he has been responsible for logging detailed and thorough records of all maintenance performed, works closely with equipment engineers and technicians and supervises all housekeeping staff.
Prior to Surgicare, Admir spent 5 years working as the Building Superintendent for Peter J. Striano Catholic Charities supervising an extensive staff of custodial and maintenance staff and coordinated with external vendors & contractors for major renovations and specialized repairs. Before this, Admir was Assistant Director of Facilities at the New York Center For Specialty Surgery for almost 10 years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tirana in Tirana, AL. Admir lives in Brooklyn with his wife and 4 children.
