Welcome Seminarian Fiona Beattie!

We are delighted to welcome Fiona Beattie to Brick Church as a seminarian from Princeton Theological Seminary! Fiona brings a creative and thoughtful approach to ministry, drawing on her background in theatre and her interests in theology, ethics, and philosophy. During her time at Brick Church, Fiona will have opportunities to participate in worship, learn alongside our clergy and congregation, and explore how her gifts can help foster meaningful connection and community. We look forward to getting to know Fiona and accompanying her during this important season of ministry formation.

Fiona Beattie grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where she was raised in the PC(USA) tradition. She escaped the cold weather by going to Washington for her bachelor’s degree. There she studied Theatre, as well as English and Psychology at Whitworth University. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary. Having developed an interest in ethics and philosophy during her college years,  she hopes to continue to explore these topics during her time at PTS. Fiona hopes to use her background in theatre in conjunction with her current theological studies to find ways to better foster community amongst churches and the current generations.
